Our Standard Reach model was made from Bolivian Rosewood and Tiger Maple, but this project can easily be made from any wood.
Our Short Reach model was made from Purpleheart and Osage Orange
Either is a relatively simple project that takes about an hour of your time.
I consider it to be a very safe push stick since it features a wide base and has a longer body to allow more downward torque on the front end of shorter ripping stock.
The designs also features a replaceable catch or hook piece so that when the existing one is cut up or damaged it is easy to swap in a new one.
